Just typing on my keyboard generates spurious "mouse tap" events on the
TrackPoint III on my TP770. (Depending on the location of the cursor,
this gets quite messy, as the mouse tap moves the cursor or presses a
random button.)
I had the TrackPoint sensitivity set to "lightest touch", and turning
it back down toward "medium" or "firm touch" has helped but not
entirely eliminated the problem.
I realize that I could disable "press to select", but I use it a lot
and would miss it.
My questions:
A. Has anyone else had these problems?
B. Does it get worse over time?
C. Has anyone had a repair experience for this problem?
