RANDOM THOUGHTS:
the term "Distributed Processing" comes to mind..
then there is a group which tries to break the encryption algorithm by
using hundreds of different machines onver the internet..
i forget the details..
but think of the future.. :-)
with all these thinkpads, my mind keeps going to the idea of a LAN with
individual machines doing different jobs.. all laced together by a LAN
and feeding data to each other..
kill one machine and the others take over..
when I lived in Palo Alto i kept my horses on arastradero road, between
page mill and portola road..
across from the barn (before it burned down in a brush fire) was the
Stanford AI Lab building..
