Personally, if gaming is an issue, I would go with the new Dell Inspirion
7000.
It posted some impressive D3D/OpenGL results with its onboard ATI Rage
chipset.
It garnered excellent reviews in MaximumPC, and even at 1024x768, at 15.1" TFT
is a thing of beauty. If gaming is a low priority/weight a high priority,
then
stick with the TP600. Weight has never been an issue for me (6'4" 250lbs), but
for some others, a few pounds can really put a strain on your frame. :)
