Yes, there is neomagic support in Solaris. In fact I use the 380D myself.
You have to select the video driver for the Dell Latitude Xpi CD which is
almst the same chip as on the 380. Some people in my company have trouble
on the 380ED, where Solaris will hang if you try to exit the windowing
system to go back to the command prompt. I myself no longer use the
native Solaris X server, instead I'm using Xfree86 which works pretty
well and lets me get 16bit color at 800x600.
