You need to look at http://access1.sun.com for the notebook specific
instruction pages and list of supported drives. In general Sun has
reasonably supported IBM, Toshiba's and HP laptops. There are a couple
of disks to do a minimal initial installation and stripped down laptop
version.
Look at http://www.eis.com for pointers to resources and the x86-list.
