It shouldn't cost you anything. The TP760XL has a 3-year warranty which by
my calendar should still be in effect, so in the US, all you need to do is
call EZ-Serv at 800.772.2227, tell them your serial number and problem, and
follow their instructions. It's possible that you will have to send the
whole machine in, but they may just ship you a replacement floppy and have
you send the broken one back to them. If you don't send the broken one
back, they WILL bill you for the replacement.

If they tell you to ship the whole system in, they'll have FedEx bring you
a really weird box (not the sling box anymore) to ship it in, and they pay
the shipping both ways.

DO NOT send anything to them that is not part of the problem - ie, remove
extra memory, battery, PC Cards, hard drive, CD-ROM. You might not get
them all back or they may come back not working. This is not at all to say
that they will be stolen, but things get misplaced and/or broken in repair
and shipping. Just eliminate that possibility by keeping them home safe.

Hope this helps!

Jane
