I recommend you get a couple of network cards and a crossover cable (or a
hub, but you don't need one for just two machines). Once you network the
machines together, then you can use the Acer's CD from the 701C--and you can
do so much more.
I assume the Acer has 32-bit CardBus slots, is that right? What operating
system is it running, and what OS is the 701C running?
