I have a TP 600 and 770. On both machines if I use a Xircom Realport
ethernet/modem card, windows 98 (on the 600) and 65 (on the 770) rarely
shutdown. It just hangs with the please wait screen. I've been in contact
with Xircom, gotten the newests drivers and flash BIOSes for the 600 and
770. Nothing has helped.
If I remove the card before shutting down, all is well. Also, when I
insert the card after win98 is up, the system hangs for about 15 seconds.
Mouse freezes, etc. Is this normal?
Anyone else have this problem?
