Can you elaborate for the rest of us 560 owners? Do you really
mean burned out (e.g., from badly regulated power), or do you mean
something like a blown solder connection (which can be a consequence of
too much case flex - happened to me, not too surprising in a thin machine).

Besides the 'authorized' supplier in Boulder (who I think will be happy
to ship you a motherboard for self-installation), there are lots of parts suppliers for Thinkpads on the web, but I don't know how
many have
motherboards. Try http://www.ambry.com/html/ibm_pricing.html
and http://www.usapc.com/ and http://www.bluestarusa.com/inventory.htm
for a start. Sometimes a web search on a part number works, too.
