It doesn't help that the composite plastic they use for the case, while very
strong, is subject to shear failure and nearly impossible to glue. I'm
hopeful that a normal ABS adhesive (either a solvent cement, or airplane
model glue) will do the trick, but the more sophisticated the composite recipe, the harder gluing will be.

It is worth noting that the 560 by its very nature is IBM's least structurally
sound laptop, and mine has been very mobile of late.
