The range is less than 5 feet to talk to an HP LaserJet 5MP IR port. So
short of a range it's pretty useless. Most TV remotes have a 25-30ft range
allowing the signal to wall bounce. Is this the printers problem or the
Thinkpad? (755CD in my case).
