Suspend disappeard from my TP770ED

Hello everybody.

I have a 770 ED, WIN 98, and the latest
Norton Antivirus and Norton Utilities installed.

I had no problems, used suspend since I bought it.

But yesterday when turning the machine on Windows showed a
small window telling me that it had often detected problems by
getting into suspend and if I wanted to correct that.
There was only one botton to click, the accept one, so I clicked on it.

Since then I can not get into suspend anymore.
(Fn+F$, closing screen, and no more suspend option in the start menu)

When I create the suspend file using windows energy properties, it tells me
that it created it but everything remains the same.

Can somebody help me ?
