having played with USB on my system all weekend, I
might be able to offer a few pointers (forgive
the obvious questions, but they need to be asked):
1. does your BIOS know about USB? Are the USB
ports enabled?
2. you must be running OSR2 (Win95B) version. USB
is not supported in the earliest versions of 95.
3. Win95B knows about USB, but you need to add the
USB drivers, downloadable from the Microsoft site.
It's hard to find, and if you can't find it, let
me know.
4. Once you've done 1,2 and 3, USB works without a hitch.
I've got a USB scanner working fine.
Too bad I can't find USB drivers for NT 4.0.

Hi, Folks--
Well, I just got back from the 'States with a new Microsoft "wavy"
external PS2/USB keyboard for my 385XD running Win95, and... sigh. I
can't get Win95 to recognize it. I'd like to run that keyboard in USB
mode if I can, and am not ready for Win98 yet. Anybody know if there are
drivers out there that would make this possible?
Thanks-- Larry
