About the TP 390 2626-50U ....

Hi,

I've been using suspend mode with OS/2 4.0 and found it
doesn't work. I believe the modem and sound card drivers
simply can't continue through a suspend cycle (modem
refused to dial in DOIP dialer and sound files stutter)
I've had to totally turn off suspend as an option in the
ibm bios setup.

Is there any hope of updated drivers for sound and the modem
that will support this or is it a architectural problem that
can't be changed? I'm using the latest drivers I found on
the thinkpad ibm site as of about a week or so ago.

I also find that the thinkpad 390's back light is still too bright
in my opinion even with the brightness slider all the way to the
left. Not much can be done about that I guess.

Mark
