Al,
It installed without a hitch on my TP 600 PII266. Did u do a complete
unistall of cardwiz 3 (with a reboot) before you installed 4.1? I've
had no problems with it. I even got my Intel Cardbus network card to
work in NT!
Btw, someone on the list pointed out Cardwizard is available on the
IBM website for one of their new models (?1720)
Regards,
Neil

Is it just me or does the Thinkpad's nice sleek rubberized black
finish attract fingerprints and any sort of body oil? Is there an
easy way to get rid of it?
Also, I bought CardWizard 4.1 to replace the 3.0 version for NT that
comes with the Thinkpad 600E. Anyway, to make a long story short, it
doesn't work at all. Actually, at one point trying a reinstallation,
I crashed to the point where I couldn't uninstall/reinstall CW3.1, and
forced me to restore a registry from backup.
I am going to return it (if I can ever get in touch with a human at
Systemsoft... I'm getting ready to cancel the charge on my credit card
myself). But before I do, has anyone on a Thinkpad 600/600E had a
chance to get 4.1 to work? Is there a trick? It installs fine, it
never even detects the first card insertion.
