On the 701, and I believe the 500, you need either the Multiport II or Multiport (respectively)
to use a keyboard. But in my case, my mouse is dead on both 701s.
Fortunately, the keyboard on my 750 is the BEST I've ever used, albeit louder than that of the 701.
It's great at home, but not always so in class.
