If only one line is cut, why not try to repair it. I repaired mine.
Go to Pep Boys and buy a rear window defroster repair kit. It costs about
$5 but it's uses are endless... it's basically conductive paint.
Get some scotch tape, tape behind the break in the cable, and with a small
amount of the 'paint' on the brush, put some of the conductive paint in
the break, being very careful not to paint multiple lines together.
Then wrap the rest of the tape around the break, protecting the repair.
Mine has survived for 8 months this way.
