Since EPB has both, he would be best to remark on this, but I think
the most telling advantages of the 560 series over the Sony machine are (a) IBM support, and (b) real keyboard. The obvious
advantages of the Sony and Toshiba are weight and case rigidity. BTW, I spent some time last month playing with both the Sony and
the Toshiba side-by-side; the
latter felt much better to me, though I don't know if I could use it as my primary machine (as my 560 has been recently).
