I hadn't made a pass through the CIS ThinkPad Forum in a couple of days and
found this happy little surprise tonight in the Announcements:
"THINKPAD(r) Forum Survives!
The rumors of this forum's demise have been greatly exaggerated!
THIS FORUM IS NO LONGER MANAGED BY, OR ASSOCIATED WITH IBM CORPORATION.
This is now an indepdent, user supported forum, managed by an indepdendent
third party. This forum is available for the exchange information,
knowledge and experiences with IBM Thinkpads, Workpads and other mobile
computing devices.
We are in the process of reviewing the forum message base and libraries,
so please bear with us while we review the contents and layout of this
forum.
In the meantime, if you have any suggestions for how we can improve this
forum to better meet your needs (or if you would like to volunteer to help
with this forum), please be sure to let me know.
