Office Depot give a 14 day *satisfaction* warranty when you buy from them
-- you can use the hardware for that period and if you do not *like* it
(not if it is defective) you can return it for a full refund or credit.
This applied (for 30 days) when I bought my laser printer and it did not
matter that the toner cartridges had been used.
That's why I often buy from "box-shifters" -- provided I know more than
they do which is often fairly easy <g>
