Hi all,
Well, I've taken a look at my upcoming tax situation and have decided that
it would be in my best interest to go ahead and donate my ThinkPad 560
(non-working--sort of) rather than attempt repairs on it.
Sooo...I'm taking bids/suggestions. I know there were some of you who
e-mailed me this before, so I'll ask you again--I'd like to take a donation
value of $1,000 for the laptop. If your charitable organization can grant
me the $1,000 value for donation of it (and provide me with the appropriate
receipt), please contact me.
The item is a ThinkPad 560, P-120, 8 MB RAM, 12.1" TFT. Has two problems:
HD crashed and TFT does not appear to work (backlight comes on, no
apparent physical damage--probably fixable). In all other respects, it
works fine--before the HD crashed, it worked fine hooked up to an external
monitor. Has working battery, A/C adapter/charger, and can include some
misc. repair parts for it (the little doors & etc. that easily break off--I
had a couple break and kept spare parts on-hand for when they'd break in
the future).
Who will grant me the tax-deductable gift value of $1,000?
Please reply privately. :-)
