1024x768=786432pixels
786432x32bit=25165824bits
25165824/8=3145728bytes
3145728/1048576=3MB

1280x1024=1310720pixels
1310720x32bit=41943040bits
41943040/8=5242880bytes
5242880/1048576=5MB

Given that 4MB VRAM is adequate to display 1024x768 at 32bit, by the above
calculations, the 8MB VRAM in the 770x should be more than adequate to
display 1280x1024 at 32bit.

What gives? Can someone check my math/logic?
