To the best of my knowledge PCAnywhere does not support cable
connections between computers, only modem or internet.

Item no. 205-1991, $6.50, Universal 2.5 inch to 3.5 inch adapter. I just got
several from them and they work great. Throw the drives in an "extra"
desktop and copy/clone drives 'til the cows come home. We find this
especially useful when setting up multiple laptops for clients who want them
_exactly_ the same. There are many places to get PCMCIA to HD adapters,
but they're a lot more than $6.50.
Good luck,
James
