You should have enough space already on the partition. The initial install
on my 770ED
takes no more than 500 megs of space.
There have been problems with the recovery CD's giving an error message
saying that there was
a problem deompressing files.
I found that at that point most files have been transferred albeit a few of
the disk images from the diskette
factory which can be found on the customization CD anyway.

The workaround for me has been (after you receive the error message) is to
boot with a Windows diskette and
tranfer the system by entering "sys C:" command at the prompt.

Then restart the system and windows will complete the installation.
