I avoid alcohol-based cleaners because I've heard they can cause
yellowing of the screen over time, but I don't have any actual
evidence or experience to support this.

Me too. Usually I just gently brush dust away with a soft cloth or a
Kleenex. Occasionally I'll swab the screen with a moist cloth first,
then wipe dry. Sometimes I run a slightly damp Q-Tip through the
grooves between the keys to pick up dust and other gunk.
