Hmm - just got frustrated with the long procedure involved with getting my
system back up. Got a new HD, followed the IBM instructions for a full Win98
install, followed by installing Office 97, my major utilities, etc (about 6
hours of work). I then used CD-RESQ (a disk imaging program available with
Plextor CD-R drives) to create a bootable CD of the resulting drive. Got it
all onto one CD, and I can now save about 5.75 hours on a restore! What a
deal...
Similar stuff can be done with Ghost or other disk imaging solutions. Worth
acquiring a CD-R...
