Yes, it works fine. I have had the most success with WinDac 1.41 (for
Win95), running in burst mode. It averages about 6 speed for reading an
entire audio CD.

Guess someone else will have to answer this - I'm not understanding what
the point of "w/o the video enhancer" is. The 770ED plays DVD's and
supposedly uses hardware decoding. (I have finally tested DVD playback on
my machine, and I was not surprised by the poor image quality: I really
felt exactly like I was watching on MPEG movie.)
