Well,
When you do have to lug it-if only once a month-the Thinkpad at 8 pounds or
so beats a 30 pound CPU and 50 pound monitor. IMHO. Also, for me, the
ability to share hard drives and other accessories via the ultrabay is an
advantage not easily duplicated on a desktop. If I’m lugging the laptop
daily, 5 pounds versus 8 pounds is very significant.

Just curious, why would anyone pay for a laptop to get a desktop,

normally costs much less? Size?
