ALWAYS get the machine type and model number and the serial number, THEN check the IBM web site, AND call IBM for a warranty status check.. that way you'll know if the machine has been reported stolen or if it has been registered to a user..
also, you can learn the manufacture date..
i don't THINK there is a P-266 TP-600 machine with a 14 inch display..
