Kevin..
i had a similar experience with my 770X (now gone to Jakarta)..
pre-update, connect speed was 33.6, post update connect speed was 32.0.. !
now, with the 770Z, the connect speed is 33.6 on the same POTS line..
when i plug the TP into one half of my ISDN line, connect speed increases to 40.0..
note: one desktop connects at 50.6 and the other (different but identical line, different modem) connects at 52.0...
you are welcome to come and play with various modems, update rev. levels and computers.. :-)
but apparently, the line DOES have something to do with speed...
i suggest that you go back to the previous rev. level..

It seems that I recently read a post from someone else who had this experience. Does anyone know of a fix to the fix? Thanks in advance.
