Hmmmm... well, firstly, I don't think that the TP's hibernation is really
related to APM. (Leastwise, not on my ol' 701C.) So I'm pretty sure
hibernation mode Should Just Work. Unless, of course, it *is* tied to
APM... in which case I think you're out of luck. Unfortunately, as I'm
sure you've discovered, it's been my experience that the docs for APM
are... sparse. The good news is that some of the kernel developers are
coming out with a New and Improved (tm) "hibernate", which is essentially
the same as IBM's hibernate, except that it'll work for any/all i386 Linux
installs, regardless of platform.
