Hello,

I have a Xircom 10/100 Ethernet card on a 760ED (checked yesterday: latest
official BIOS, dated May or June 1998), which requires Cardbus, and works
fine on Windows 95, 98 and NT4. I also have Xircom drivers for Windows 2000
Pro (Beta 3 RC1). But for some reason, each time I boot in Windows 2000,
Cardbus gets disabled. If it was enabled from the previous boot, e.g. 9x or
NT, it still ends up being disabled when booting under 2000. I tried all
interrupts which are free under 2000, just in case. If I try to run ThinkPad
Configuration (the NT4 version) under 2000, it is ineffective as well (it
either crashes, or it apparently allows me to enable Cardbus, but then
rebooting it ends up being off again). Does perhaps anybody know how to
enable Cardbus under Windows 2000 on this machine?

Thanks!

Michael
