I was about to ask a similar question. I have a 770ED and Adaptec SlimSCSI
1460 (a 1460A, I think). I'd also like to be able to access SCSI devices from
a DOS boot.

I picked up a copy of PowerQuest's Drive Image software to use for backups and
find that it wants to work only when booted from DOS. I don't know whether
*it* cares whether that boot is from floppy or HD in DOS mode. But, I don't
want to make a configuration change to my HD C: drive that will screw up
things for normal Win95 booting and use. So, a floppy DOS boot seems safer.

I also just picked up a Yamaha CRW4416sxz CD-RW drive and am fairly keen to
use it as the backup / restore (hope I don't have to, though) media drive. So,
anything "extra" that needs to be done to write to (and read from) such a
drive from a DOS boot would also be helpful to me.

Thanks!
