It sounds like the virus switched the PC's O/S shell to Program Manager
instead of Explorer. Check the SYSTEM.INI file (located in c:\windows) and
look for the 'shell=...' key under the [boot] section (usually near the top).
It probably says 'shell=progman.exe'. Switch it to say 'shell=Explorer.exe'
and that might fix the problem. If the virus goofed up that, though, there's
no telling what else it messed up. You'll just have to take it one step at a
time after fixing this problem.
