Machine: Thinkpad 600E running Win98.

Currently, the 6.4 gb HD in my system is partitioned into C:, D:, E:
and F:. We'll call this drive HDA.

Now, I put in my 1.2 gb HD into the Ultraslim bay using the HDD
adapter. We'll call this drive HDB.

When Win98 loads up with both drives in the system, I now have:
C: (HDA), D: (HDB), E: (HDA old D:), F: (HDA old E:), G: (HDA old F:).

Obviously this screws up a lot of things. In System Properties,
Device Manager, I am unable to change the "Current drive letter
assignment" (locked out).

Anyone have any ideas here? What I'd like to do is have the HDB drive
assigned as Z: and use it as an archive drive that I burn CDs with.
Otherwise the second drive and adapter is useless. :-(

Any help would be appreciated.
