easy..
the problem is that HDB is a bootable drive..
thus when DOS sees the second bootable partition, it is automatically made
"D:" drive..
then the balance of partitions on HDA, then the balance of partitions on
HDB..

to defeat this, make HDB a non-bootable drive..
then all will follow the way you want..

OR..

make all your HDD's fat32, single partition drives..
