I suspect the law is on your side. But why not
give the poor guys a break? They've done nothing
wrong. You know you were taking advantage of
their inadvertant error when you made the
purchase.
I might have been tempted to place an order at
that price if I had seen it in time. But I surely
wouldn't protest if they said no. I'm not even
sure I'd have placed the order. Maybe. I
wouldn't be proud of it though.
And what if you succeed and put them out of
business? Stranger things have happened.
Educalc, a long time calculator mail order store
with a great reputation and a large, loyal
following went out of business last year because
of a theft of $40,000. After 20 years they shut
their doors. They were just not big enough to
handle that.
