[755C] Video mode

Hi all,

Help.. Having a problem with the 755C's video mode and Windows 3.1.

Sometimes when I launch Windows, the Program Manager (minimized)
will not show up and the menu text are distorted. Usually I just
restart Window and things may look okay. Any idea why this
happen? [An updated video driver is installed thru the window setup
(SVGA 1024 x 768 256 color).]

Btw, my READIBM 755c manual and PC2000's QCONFIG report different
video info about my 755C video:

READIBM: LCD 640-by-480 256 color
QCONFIG: Primary Video: VGA

How come? Where is my SVGA?? Is it true that SVGA 1024x768 mode
only apply to _external_ monitor?
