Let's speak english ...
Hello,
I bought my used 760 ED last september:
Pentium 166 MMX
3 GB HD
48 MB RAM
Machine Type 9546 X9E
W 95, trying to install Linux (SuSE 6.0)
it is much better than my old Siemens Nixdorf PCD-4ND, a 486/66, 4MB,
820MB HD, Freecom parallel CD-ROM machine, really old stuff.
First question: (not really a problem)
by profiling on the IBM - Homepage big blue concludes from my machine
type that I should have a 760 XD,
but on the top (right) of my keyboard is a sign 760 ED.
What's up now, ED or XD, that's the question ...
a little bit confused, but happy thinkpad user
Dirk
