The 760ED is a P133, NOT a 166
That is the main difference between the two models...
> Let's speak english ...
> I bought my used 760 ED last september:
> Pentium 166 MMX
> 3 GB HD
> 48 MB RAM
> Machine Type 9546 X9E
> W 95, trying to install Linux (SuSE 6.0)
> it is much better than my old Siemens Nixdorf PCD-4ND, a 486/66, 4MB,
> 820MB HD, Freecom parallel CD-ROM machine, really old stuff.
> First question: (not really a problem)
> by profiling on the IBM - Homepage big blue concludes from my machine
> type that I should have a 760 XD,
> but on the top (right) of my keyboard is a sign 760 ED.
> What's up now, ED or XD, that's the question ...
