most thinkpads have a hardware reset switch..
its on the rear of the 755CDV..
i would need to locate the reset switch on the 380 and 560..
but the occasional lockup is not a thinkpad feature..
it is more a misbehaved application/win95 feature..
but first, test your memory, THEN change the OS.. :-)
okok..
also be sure the bios is up to date and that the video driver is the most
recent..
