I remember several weeks ago that there was a thread on DVD/MPEG
decoding software. I don't know if anyone was able to get
answers to their questions but I was hunting for a different
decoder (one that might work with WinNT) than the one that came
with my 770ED (SoftDVD) and I ran across this website:
http://windoms.sitek.net/~dvdsoft/dvdsoft.html
It has info on several different decoders (some with DVD region
codes you can change). WinDVD, XingDVD, PowerDVD to name a few
(along with the standard SoftDVD and DVDExpress). It also has
some general info on how these decoders work. I have found it
very useful so far. Please let me know the results if you try
one of these programs (particularly if you get something to work
with WinNT).
