It is?
When I tried to unzip, untar, un anything on the recovery CD, it
wouldn't let me! Am I missing something?
I had an unsupported CDROM. I started hacking the recovery boot diskette
to get it too load my drivers. Almost got it to work. Finally threw my
hands up in disgust and copied the CAB files from the included Companion
CD and the setup files from a version of Windows from work using the dos
drivers for the CD and a windows boot disk.
