Bill: About unzipping the files on the recovery disk.
That's what I meant about jumping through hoops. Installing
an OS should be pop in the CD and go. That's the way it
worked with older versions of Windows, that's the way it works
with standalone versions of Win98, that's the way it works
with Linux. It's a hassle to first install a minimal DOS or
Win or Linux system to partition the drive, unzip and copy the
CD contents to disk, then reboot to install.
