Do what i do..
copy the entire preload to a networked drive (i have many generations of
these).. then its a simple matter to just copy the whole thing back to a fat16
or a fat32 partition..
does not care..
also, the image on the CD is just a big zip file..
you can unzip it to a HDD of ANY fatxx... :-)

and thats MY two bits worth... <G>
