I have been using the Yamaha 4x4x16 CD-RW drive with my 770ED via an
Adaptec 1460A PCMCIA SCSI card. I have had no problems with anything I
have tried, so far.

I have done very little copying. However, I have made a couple of data
CD-ROM copies from the internal DVD, mostly as a test. The copy
operation seemed to work just fine. One CD-ROM had a volume label that
the Adaptec software claimed was illegal. So, it would not let me use
that volume label on the destination CD being created. That didn't
seem to affect anything, though.

Ron.
