The only problem with the 600e and Linux is that the modem is a
software-based WinModem which _does not_ work under Linux, so you're
required to buy an additional, pcmcia-based modem instead.. I've gotten a
Xircom Realport 10/100+56k Modem double-slot pcmcia card, which works
quite well on my 600e in RedHat 6.0.
Now if I can only get sound working... :)
