I've just powered up my 701 on battery, or rather tried to, and all that
happened was for the status lights to flicker on and off with some minor
noises from the speaker. When I attached the AC adapter it works fine
except when the battery status is displayed(fn+F2) it does not show the
battery being charged and the whole display is grey (there is a smily face
in the upper left). How do I determine if this is due to the battery or
something else? BTW the box ran on battery power a week or so ago,
apparantly with out any problem?
