        Thanks, everyone. Just to clarify, I'm in the same boat as Bill - I've
currently got two 701s (one's a b-day present for a friend, which I got for
a couple hundred bucks and that I hope will get the kid to move on from her
Thinkpad 500). For seemingly no known reason, sometimes one or the other
will skip the test and go straight to booting the OS. I've played with all
the settings in the BIOS that seem relevant, but thought I'd missed one.
