Hello everyone. I'm just writing a note to introduce myself.
I am a college student. Majoring in Literature, so I've _lots_
of note-taking and paper writing to do. I've just ordered a used
ThinkPad 755CD which should arrive in about 2 days.
I've been using desktops for years, but the only other portable
I've really used is an old old Tandy 100.
So I'm a newbie regarding notebooks.
One thing I've been wondering: How long does a battery charge
seem to last on one of these machines? in the real world? I've seen
written estimates that vary wildy.
And any information you all would like to point me towards on the
net in general would be appreciated.
